El himno de Jordan is known as Al-salam Al-malaki Al-urdoni (literally Royal Anthem of Jordan). It was adopted in 1946. The letter it was written by Abdul Monem Al-Refai and the music was composed by Abdul Qader al-Taneer. The first version of the letter it was too short (the first verse is the first version), so it was expanded.
