You can find restaurants in the surroundings of Agua Amarga (3,6 km) and Carboneras.

This beach is considered mixed, since it is both nudist as current, so you can see naked people and clothed people. Both things are allowed and coexist without any problem.

As for the dogs, there are people who go with their pet, but it is advisable to take them when the beach is not crowded or make sure that it is not going to disturb the bathers.

Take into account the weather and the state of the sea, because when there is a strong east wind it is dangerous to bathe due to the waves. Also, the water covers a lot.

Curiosities

The characteristics that make this beach one of the best in the country is the quality of its transparent water, ideal for doing snorkel or diving. In addition, it is composed of small stones, so it is not the typical sandy beach. It has a total length of 1 km.

The origin of the name of this beach is quite peculiar. It is called like this because throughout history the corpses of shipwrecked people who came here due to the currents of the sea have been appearing in it.

This beach is included within the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park, an area that is protected due to its environmental value. Such is its beauty that the famous singer David Bisbal shot one of her music videos on this piece of coast.

If you want to take advantage of your visit to the beach, you can go to the Mesa Roldán Lighthouse, just 1,8 km away, from which you have impressive views of the sea.
