Unter den Linden - Berlin

Unter den Linden, is the main boulevard of the city of Berlin Germany. Along with the street Kurfürstendamm, is the preferred place for visitors in search of culture and fun.

Its name in Spanish means Under the linden trees, formerly this street led to the royal game reserve, now known as Tiergarten park.

The street was ordered to be built by Federico Guillermo II in 1647. During the XNUMXth century it was a place visited by the aristocrats of the capital.

Tour the historic center, from the Paris square, where the famous Hotel Adlon is located, up to 1.5 km eastwards reaching the Castle Bridge, which links East Berlin and Museum Island, the Brandenburg Gate.

In Unter den Linden you will find many tourist places full of art and culture. It is a wide street, with trees along the way, bars, restaurants and cafes. You can buy in its luxury stores in the mornings, see an exhibition, have a few beers or ride a bicycle to enjoy the landscape. At night it is a very popular place for its discos.

This street houses very important buildings such as the Opera and History Museum. The Unter den Linden is very visited by Berliners themselves and many demonstrations are held there.
