If we go to visit Valencia we must know that this Spanish destination has important wine-growing areas and wine cellars that make it ideal for wine tourism or wine tourism.

Among the municipalities that we must visit on this tour are also Camporrobles, Fuenterrobles, Requena, Utiel and Venta del Moro. All located a little more than fifty kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea (these areas are considered the wine-growing heart of the Valencian Community), and in them we can find not only wineries, but also museums, accommodation, tourism companies, handicraft shops, among others, which complement well with the winemaking tradition of the area.

One of the most popular routes is the one offered by Utiel-Requena Wine Route Association, the same one that will take us to a wine tasting where we will discover the flavor of Valencian wines while we are guided by specialists.

In addition, if we want to know the history of wine we can visit museums such as the Vine and the Wine of Utiel. If we visit the destination for a weekend we can enjoy other offers such as outdoor adventure sports.

In our tour we can visit the Torre de Oria Winery, one of the most recognized in the Valencian Community and which is located in the municipality of El Derramador. After doing the tasting tour, we will be able to taste a typical lunch and purchase the wines we want. Another stop on our tour should be to visit the Hoya de Cadenas Winery in the city of Requena.

In a one-hour tour we will be able to get to know the historic center and then visit the facilities of the Hoya de Cadenas de Utiel winery. This winery has its train in which we will have a guided walk through its hundreds of hectares of vineyards where varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc are grown.
