Glasgow is a modern city, full of culture and bohemian nights, a large number of festivals take place here throughout the year, attracting more than 32,000 tourists. The most important Festival is the one held in February, Celtic Connections, gathering visitors from all over the world. It is the largest winter Celtic music festival in Scotland and has an excellent list of artists.

In May the Glasgow International Festival, and it is a memorable event of the city's civic year. It includes presentations by local and international artists, in the Plaza San Jorge the Arts Fair and the streetcar. In the surroundings there are workshops, street sales, art discussions, guided tours of fine arts.

Glaswog Festival

To celebrate its maritime history, Glasgow prepares the River Festival, drawing crowds to the shore of the Clyde with a host of activities and attractions. Attendees can go up to High Masted Sailboat, to live the experience of Glenlee, a sailor who lived and sailed during his 110 years to go around the world, four times.

El Glasgow Green Festival attracts thousands of bagpipe bands from around the world, the Championship of the Bagpipe Bands, during the last week of August to enjoy the greatest and supreme Scottish tradition.
