La Stone Crane en Santander is an old industrial relic, located in the Promenade from the city. It has become a symbol of identification of the city and a meeting point for the inhabitants of the city.

This construction dates from 1900. It served for decades for the loading and unloading of all types of ships, from small fishing boats to large merchants and freighters, and remains unchanged against the Santander bay.

It consists of a concrete base on which the small control cabin and the crane arm are located. It is very well preserved, and its location is enviable: the Maura Pier versus Paseo de Pereda, and very close to Palacete del Embarcadero and Maritime Club. The views from there are very beautiful.

To get there you can take lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 12, 13 and 15 of the bus, which arrive at the bus stops Pereda Gardens, Puerto Chico and Paseo de Pereda.
