What makes Dublin special is that it is the birthplace of great writers, its natural spaces and its dozens of ideal places to spend a pleasant afternoon or evening, such as its traditional taverns. If we only have 24 hours to visit this destination, all we have to do is organize a good itinerary so that we can discover the charms of Dublin.

If we are traveling or connecting in Dublin and we have a day to do tourism in this destination, the first thing we can do is go in the morning to visit the Temple Bar neighborhood. Here we will visit theaters, bars, barracks and we can visit the Quartier and the Temple Bar Gallery & Studios, places where we will see the work of contemporary artists in their workshops and exhibitions.

A few hours later we must include in the itinerary the Dublin Castle (a symbol of English rule that was built in the XNUMXth century by order of John of England), and the Cathedral of Saint Patrick. After knowing these tourist attractions we must already be tired so we can discover Güines Store House, an ideal place to taste some beers and enjoy a conversation.

In the afternoon we can visit the Trinity College library - ideal to appreciate classical architecture -; the Powrscourt Center, a mansion that was the commercial center of the aristocracy of the last century; passing through Kilmaihan Gaol Prison, where many rebels were tortured in the early XNUMXth century; or go shopping on Grafton Street and Nassau Street.

To end the afternoon, we can visit the Irish Museum of Mordent Art, or go to the Harolds Croos, to see the greyhound races that are popular in Dublin.

At night and before saying goodbye to this city, we can go to a traditional bar or tavern and enjoy the nightlife of Dublin.
