In the Plaza Santa María 1, from the Old Town from the city of Barcelona, is the Church of Santa María del Mar. Also known as The Catedral del Mar o The Cathedral of the Poor. It is the Cathedral of the sailors dedicated to its patron saint, financed by the fishermen's brotherhood and built with the voluntary work of the sailors of the neighborhood.

Made by the architect Berenguer de Montagut at the beginning of the XNUMXth century.
