Cap Ferret or Cape Ferret it is located northwest of the Arcachon Bay just over sixty kilometers from Bordeaux, France. We can reach this destination by car via the Hendaye-Bordeaux route or from Arcachon where we can take a boat that will take us in a little over two hours.
Upon reaching our destination we will find more than twenty-five kilometers of fine sand beaches being an ideal destination for travelers looking for the do water sports like snorkeling and surfing; for those who want a destination for camping and outdoor activities such as trekking; or to just relax and enjoy nature and the picturesque fishing village on the cape.
En Cap Ferret We can rent bicycles to explore all the corners of the cape (if we want to do a good exploration we will have to rent the bicycle for about 3 days) and take advantage of the tour to taste marine dishes in the restaurants in the area.
To get to the beach we will have a board path that makes it easier for us to move through the dunes (do not forget to bring sunscreen, water, an umbrella and others because the sun is usually very intense and there is not much shade), after enjoying the beach in the morning, we can take advantage of the afternoon and low tide to visit the oyster farms and taste this mollusk accompanied by a glass of white wine while we wait for the sunset.
