At National Park a la Bandera you will find this monument, inaugurated in 1957. Built, especially of marble and stones from the Andes, it represents a ship whose destiny is the future of greatness of the Homeland. Its architecture is reminiscent of the one used during Fascism in Italy and Nazism in Germany.
Monument to the Flag - Rosario
It consists of three parts:
The central tower:
It is the most emblematic part of the Monument. It represents the bow that advances towards the sea. On both sides it has two sculptures, the colossal gods of water, “Atlántico” and “Río Paraná”. This tower has a viewpoint from which you can practically see the city. Access to it is by means of a staircase and an elevator and the entrance price is 2 pesos, (about € 0,40). It's honestly a must see, probably the best of the monument.

The Crypt of Belgrano
Two bas-reliefs on the doors that lead to the Belgrano Crypt symbolize "El Ideal" and "La Gloria".

The Propylaea and the Gallery of Honor to the Flags
The Triumphal Propylaea contains four statues. They represent American and Argentine history: Indian America, Colonial, Republican, and America of the Future.
Views from the viewpoint of the Monument to the Flag - Rosario
Right in the center of this sector of the Monument is "The Flame of Argentinity", it is the tribute to the unknown soldier.
Under the Propylaea, with entrance through Santa Fe, is the Gallery of Honor of the Flags of America. Personally I did not find anything extraordinary but since its entrance is free, you don't lose anything by entering. Maybe you enjoy it more.

The civic staircase
The gigantic Civic Staircase is also surprising in the manner of a synthesis between Greek theater with modern lines or the Aztec ramp. Throughout the year, but especially in summer, there are constant free shows with popular artists.
Visiting days and hours: Monday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 18 p.m. Sale of tickets from the elevator to the viewpoint until 17:30 p.m.
