Along the road that divides Menorca in half, ME-1 we head towards the south of the island, where all tourists go to enjoy the best beaches and sun in the region.
Crossing Ferreries, Es Mercadal and Alaior 3 of the urban centers that share the western part of the island, we continue without stopping more than to observe the thick vegetation that runs through the island, but if you want to visit these 3 regions, we will comment on a little of them.
From Ferreries we arrive at Cala Galdana with its small beaches on the south coast, from Mercadal, to the highest mountain of the island of 357 meters high where we find a sanctuary that receives the same name, from here you can see a large part of the landscape of the island. After Fornells, we arrive at a cheerful tourist center that presents all the animations and activities typical of the recreation center, such as small hotels, horses, kayak rentals, etc ... to reach Cap de Caballería, an impetuous rocky promontory where we can stop to enjoy the view next to the lighthouse.
We continue along the me-1 road where our eyes are distracted by the deep cliffs and the flight of the peregrine falcons and sea eagles. On the way to the beautiful southern beaches, where we will enjoy long hours of sun and beach!
