Travel to Tibet is to discover an ancient and millenary way of life, full of traditions and popular legends such as the life of the monks in its high hills, the charms of its capital Lhasa, incredible monasteries, huge palaces and green plains where yaks and sheep graze al rhythm of nomadic populations.
The cultural center of Tibet, where the main cities and small towns that surround them such as Gyantse, Shigatse, Tsetang and of course Lhasa is located in the west, occupies only a quarter of the entire country!
To enjoy a trip to Tibet, you arrive at the capital Lhasa (flying over the impressive highest peaks in the world) a small but quite lively city, where you can visit the beautiful Hindu temples, Buddhist temples with golden roofs, interesting and historical monasteries, in addition to its life urban area with local bars and restaurants. A few kilometers from the center, it is worth visiting the Chitwan National Park, where riding on an elephant begins the excursion through the huge safari.
To visit some of the most popular cities such as Shigatse, Tingri and the beautiful main city of Gyantse, it is necessary to have some means of transport, preferably an all-terrain vehicle since many of the roads through these populations are isolated or somewhat in poor condition.
The greatest attraction of the travel to tibet it's definitely the Mount Everest, known as the Roof of the World spanning the cold Tibetan plateau. Where you can also enjoy the ancient tradition of the sacred temples around it.
