If we think of a food that is usually irresistible and that has the quality of seducing our senses, we cannot fail to indicate chocolate and, Madrid, is a destination where we can make some of the best chocolate tastings in Spain.

In the chocolate tastings –a unique experience for cocoa lovers– we will learn about its history and its production, as well as participating in a tasting of different types of chocolates (usually five to ten types) and pairing. We will be provided with utensils that we will use throughout the tasting and informative catalog.

In the Spanish Tasting School (Calle Alcalá 142, 1st floor. 28009-Madrid) they carry out chocolate tastings every month. These include presentations by specialists, a folder with all the information and a tasting of ten varieties. The activity lasts three hours and has a price of 70 euros for a single person, 65 if two enroll and 60 if three enroll. In all cases, a book on the history of chocolate and recipes based on it is given away.

At the Taberna Brix restaurant (C / Antonio Acuña 7) a chocolate tasting is held at least once a month that also includes wine tasting. The activity lasts an average of an hour and a half and includes a tasting of four wines and three types of chocolates. Here we will learn about the characteristics of each product and its possible combinations. Prices start at 25 euros per person.
