A small tour to observe one of the most surprising natural phenomena, which takes place in La Cueva de Nerja, which was discovered by chance by a group of young people in 1959.
The tourist charm of this cave lies in its large and high rooms where you can see Stalactites and Stalagmites, of all types and shapes. The total route of the cave is an approximate of 250 circular meters.
The discovery of the young people in 1959 showed that they were not the first to arrive at the cave, as they found several remains of human skeletons, accompanied by ceramics, which today are preserved in the cave room known as the vestibule, where in addition to the skeletons and ceramics, cave paintings have been found, and some tools used by those who inhabited it.
In addition to its 250 meters available to the visitor, there are other high and new rooms that are still being explored.
