In the surroundings of Balos Beach, considered one of the best beaches in Europe and one of the main ones in Greece, we will find many flowers, especially wild ones, and a series of cliffs that will give us a panoramic view of the area.

How to get
To get to Balos beach, we must go to the Gramvoussa peninsula in the western part of Kissamos (municipality east of Crete) and north of the municipality of Kaliviani. This tour can be done by boat following the route through the islet of Agria.
When following the route through Kaliviani we will notice that it is a pleasant path since it is well paved and allows us to skirt the entire rocky area of the coast. The road has an average length of two kilometers before we see the entrance to the beach. If we have a good budget, we can go to Balos by cruise from Kissamos.

Balo Beach does not have accommodation, restaurants and other services, since it is a beach where we seek to preserve the natural environment, however, if we go out on the road, a few kilometers away we can find taverns, bars and other establishments where we can eat.
On the beach we will not find toilet services, parking or rental areas for water sports equipment or other, so it is recommended that we have everything you need to have a pleasant stay.
