Yesterday my friend Germán and I made a getaway to follow the route of the girlfriend's jump. A beautiful natural route.
We started on the route in Navajas by parking the car on the street «Escultor Manolo Rodrig», we found plenty of parking, so that was not a problem and we started the descent to see the fountains, finding houses completely integrated into a landscape full of vegetation.
In the middle of February we found a cloudy day and something cool, especially in the first hour, then as you can see the day changed completely and we even felt hot.
Finally we come to the sources that are located after a sharp decline. There were quite a few people who had even gotten off by car despite the fact that it was indicated that it was only enabled for residents.
A few meters further on we arrive at «El Salto de la novia» with its 30 meter drop. According to what we were told, the were 30 meters that brides had to jump if they wanted to have a happy marriage.
After that we headed to Segorbe, at a leisurely pace we arrived in an hour. There was a lot of vegetation and especially the almond trees were beautiful since they were in full bloom.
After reaching Segorbe we ate and returned, in total almost 8,6 km. I leave the route in GPX in case you want to load it.
