Mallorca is the only Balearic island that has a train.
And the famous electric train that runs through the Serra de Tramuntana, preserves its original character. Since 1912 this railway runs from Palma de Mallorca to Sóller. The tour lasts one hour and goes through 13 tunnels in the Sierra. The return ticket is € 17. There are seven daily departures.
Also from Palma a modern train runs through INCA and ends its journey Manacor and it arrives in just over an hour. It departs every 9 minutes between 6 a.m. and 22 p.m., and costs € 2,80.
There is another line that in 20 minutes travels from Inca to Sa Pobla, with a € 1,80 bill.
