Air Aland: This airline connects the southern islands with mainland Finland. It also has flights to Sweden.
bluexnumx: Covers 10 airports in Finland, although it also has several international destinations since it joined the Star Alliance in 2004.
Finnair: More internationally oriented, it also covers 12 airports in the country. However, for local flights it uses a fleet of medium-sized aircraft.

Turku air: Small company that provides air taxi service. It connects Turku, a city in the southwest, with the islands of Åland.
There are 15 heliports for private and medical use. There used to be a helicopter transport company called Copterline, but in 2008 it became insolvent. Currently the company Helitours exists to tourist flights within Finland and Helikopterikeskus for VIP flights.
